live open source spatial intelligence

A visually stunning but resource-heavy geospatial aggregator that a solo dev could not realistically replicate or sustain without significant data-licensing and compute costs.

✓ Explosive traction: 3,680 stars today and 27.8k total with a 0.20 fork ratio signals strong intent to use and build upon.✓ Clear niche: OSINT/geospatial intelligence is a painful, recurring problem for researchers with few polished open alternatives.✓ Photorealistic 3D globe (Cesium/WebGL) provides a defensible visual moat over plain map dashboards.

⚠ NOASSERTION license creates legal ambiguity for commercial forking or wrapping.⚠ Heavy dependency on live satellite/flight data feeds and Cesium/WebGL rendering raises ongoing infra and maintenance costs.⚠ 211 open issues and a single-maintainer repo suggest sustainability and bus-factor concerns.
