unified live open-source global situational awareness

A visually stunning OSINT globe with real traction, but the NOASSERTION license and heavy Cesium/WebGL data-pipeline complexity make it a risky solo rebuild and a legally murky fork.

✓ 25.6k stars with 1,762 in a single day signals explosive, genuine interest in live spatial intelligence✓ 20.5% fork ratio (5,254 forks) shows strong intent to use and extend, not just star✓ Clear niche (OSINT/geospatial) with a defined target user and no dominant open-source incumbent

⚠ NOASSERTION license means forking/wrapping into a paid product is legally unsafe without clarification⚠ Core value depends on aggregating many live data feeds (flights, satellites, photogrammetry) — high ongoing maintenance and data-source fragility⚠ 183 open issues and a single-author repo suggest bus-factor and sustainability concerns
